About the Role
ORH Assessment is seeking an accomplished senior operational leader for the position of O&M & Performance Director based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This leadership role involves strategic oversight within a large-scale water and wastewater services setting, focusing on enhancing operational outcomes sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives aimed at reducing Non-Revenue Water (NRW).
- Improve network efficiency, manage pressure, and ensure continuous service delivery.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of drinking water and wastewater.
- Drive customer satisfaction and ensure reliable service performance.
- Achieve operational targets and fulfill contractual key performance indicators (KPIs).
Challenges
The position demands operational leadership that translates deep technical knowledge into meaningful performance gains, functioning effectively within a multifaceted institutional framework involving numerous stakeholders and approval processes.
Candidate Profile
- Over 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in director-level or equivalent senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing large-scale water and wastewater operations.
- Experience in international water utility operations, concessions, management, or O&M contexts.
- Strong background in achieving operational and contractual KPIs.
- Expertise in NRW reduction, leakage mitigation, metering, and pressure control.
- Proficient in enhancing service continuity, network efficiency, and reliability.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater quality standards and customer satisfaction protocols.
- Capable of managing large, diverse, multicultural, and technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills suitable for complex institutional environments.
- Fluent in English and willing to relocate to Jeddah; Arabic language skills are advantageous but not required.
