Operations Executive - Used Car

Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent and self-driven Operations Executive to oversee daily activities for our used car business in Qatar. This role demands hands-on involvement with independent work initiatives in the field.

Key Duties

• Source used vehicles through private sellers, dealers, and diverse channels.
• Conduct thorough inspections and develop detailed condition reports.
• Negotiate pricing for purchasing and selling cars.
• Manage vehicle pricing assessments and valuations.
• Handle customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and facilitate vehicle viewings.
• Organize and monitor test drive sessions.
• Process ownership transfer, vehicle registration, and insurance documentation.
• Coordinate with workshops for inspections, service work, repairs, detailing, and accessory fitting.
• Arrange vehicle photography and manage online advertisements.
• Keep accurate inventory and sales documentation up to date.
• Oversee vehicle delivery and customer handover procedures.
• Establish and maintain relationships with dealers, workshops, and returning clients.
• Ensure vehicles meet retail standards within set timelines.
• Provide daily reports on operations and inventory status.

Candidate Profile

• At least two years of automotive experience within GCC nations is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Qatar driving license is required.
• Background in used car purchases, sales, or dealership operations preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Qatar's used car market.
• Excellent negotiation and communication capabilities.
• Ability to assess and evaluate vehicle conditions accurately.
• Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp, and email applications.
• Good command of spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to work independently.

Desired Skills

• Experience working within used car dealerships or automotive trading firms.
• Knowledge of vehicle ownership transfer processes specific to Qatar.
• Existing network of contacts among dealers and workshops is a plus.
• Commercial acumen to identify profitable purchasing opportunities.
