Role overview
Molly Tea is looking for an Operations Coordinator/Assistant to support the daily running of several store locations. The position acts as an important point of contact among the U.S. operations team, store managers, and headquarters. It focuses on smooth operational delivery, reporting, support for new locations, and coordination across teams so that stores follow company standards and perform consistently.
What you'll do
- Help manage the day-to-day activities of assigned stores and ensure operational routines follow the company’s SOPs and standards.
- Serve as a communication bridge between headquarters, regional operations, and store teams so updates are shared accurately and on time.
- Gather, organize, and review store data such as sales, labor, inventory, product results, and other important business indicators.
- Assist with store launches, operational initiatives, and ongoing support for locations in the region.
- Track operational compliance at store level and follow up on action items that improve execution and efficiency.
- Support rollout of marketing initiatives, promotions, and new product introductions across stores.
- Manage store supplies, operational paperwork, and other administrative coordination as required.
- Travel to stores in the assigned area to provide hands-on operational help and complete additional projects assigned by management.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, especially in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- About 1 to 2 years of experience in operations, retail, restaurants, food and beverage, hospitality, or a similar field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong organization skills and a willingness to learn are also welcome.
- Clear communication and strong people skills, with the ability to work well across different teams.
- Strong organization and close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with POS systems or reporting tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus, though not mandatory.
