Network & Security Manager

Overview

This position entails overseeing the comprehensive enterprise network infrastructure, including data and voice communication systems, along with security management. The role ensures the stability, reliability, and protection of network infrastructure and maintains uninterrupted service delivery. Additionally, it involves managing assigned projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deploy a secure and scalable enterprise-wide network and communication infrastructure in coordination with the Head of Networks & Infrastructure.
• Continuously monitor the network and communication systems, collecting relevant statistics to sustain operations, identify vulnerabilities, and facilitate capacity planning.
• Guarantee operational availability and continuity of the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to network, system, and security administrators.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including logical and physical configurations within the scope of responsibility.
• Schedule and perform routine and ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities compliant with established standards and manage lifecycle of administrative profiles.
• Implement and oversee effective patch management and coordinate internal and external audits for network devices, servers, and appliances.
• Ensure software and hardware license compliance and adhere to organizational security policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan for network infrastructure, including managing backups, restorations, and conducting root cause analyses to resolve incidents and permanently eliminate issues.
• Organize periodic disaster recovery drills and document outcomes.
• Lead and supervise the network administration team, manage work schedules, prioritize tasks, and provide technical guidance for projects.
• Assist in project management activities alongside the Head of Networks & Infrastructure on major initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance work culture aligned with organizational values.
• Oversee helpdesk metrics related to network staff and promptly resolve user complaints, troubles, and errors through service desk systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least five years of practical experience managing and administering enterprise network implementations.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Avaya are preferred.
• Additional certifications or training in next-generation security firewalls and CCSP are advantageous.
• CISSP or CISM certification is also desirable for this role.
