As a Mobile Cleaner, you will be essential in offering dependable and professional cleaning services across various locations.
Key Duties
- Traveling to multiple GDMA and client locations to perform daily cleaning, scheduled deep cleans, and reactive cleaning tasks.
- Conducting refurbishment cleans including turnaround and builder cleans.
- Implementing infection control procedures, disinfecting touch-points, and safely handling cleaning products according to COSHH guidelines.
- Maintaining kitchen and washroom cleanliness through descaling, sanitizing, and restocking supplies.
- Managing waste disposal and ensuring basic outdoor tidiness such as litter picking.
- Overseeing stock levels for cleaning materials, consumables, and personal protective equipment, initiating timely reorder processes.
- Using smartphone applications to log signin/out, provide job updates, capture photos, and submit timesheets accurately.
- Securing premises through key holding, alarm setting, and lone working following GDMA protocols.
- Maintaining positive communication with site managers and service teams to uphold GDMA's service standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in commercial cleaning, especially within multi-site or mobile roles.
- Possession of a valid full UK driving license and confidence in traveling between different regions.
- Understanding of colour coding systems, infection control practices, and basics of COSHH regulations.
- Competence in safe use, cleaning, and storage of cleaning equipment.
- Physical fitness to conduct manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Effective time management skills, dependability, and capability to plan routes and prioritize tasks independently.
- Comfortable operating smartphones for job management, photo documentation, and timesheet submission.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in care, healthcare, or regulated environments.
- Relevant certifications such as BICS, NVQ Level 2 Cleaning, or an equivalent qualification.

Working Hours
Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
