Mitigation Technician

About the Role

The Mitigation Technician reports directly to the Mitigation Manager and plays a crucial role in assisting those affected by property disasters such as floods and fires. This position demands a commitment to serving the community with empathy and urgency, utilizing modern communication technologies to connect effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute water mitigation, tarping, boarding up, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, and carpet cleaning/reinstallation in line with Paul Davis and industry standards under supervision.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs attentively and professionally.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all tools and equipment are well-stocked, organized, and in proper working condition.
• Be reachable via phone and participate as required in the on-call schedule to respond promptly to emergencies.
• Support warehousing and facility maintenance tasks when needed.
• Assist and lead team members as opportunities for collaboration and leadership arise.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Fluency in English is required.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds.
