Position Highlights

• Permanent full-time role based at the Higginsville site in Norseman, offering a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
• Family-friendly roster: 8 days on site followed by 6 days off, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance across the gold processing plant.
• Conduct metallurgical accounting and reconcile gold production figures.
• Ensure adherence to production and cost objectives, adjusting key operational parameters as needed.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to operations staff.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the MSA (Mill Supervisory Automation) system, delivering feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Supervise on-site laboratory activities.
• Conduct assigned metallurgical testing and execute professional metallurgical duties.
• Assist in preparing and managing departmental budgets and forecasts.
• Plan and implement short and long-term projects targeting efficiency improvements in the processing plant.
• Track usage and availability of critical reagents and consumables essential for processing.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a current Western Australian "C" Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Formal tertiary education in Metallurgy or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mineral processing.
• Thorough understanding of processing plant equipment and operations including crushing, milling, gravity concentration, leaching, tailings, and reagent circuits.
• Expertise in monitoring, optimizing metallurgical plant performance, and handling daily metallurgical accounting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience with online analytical systems is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
