M&E Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking an M&E Coordinator with over five years of experience to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor managing multiple large-scale projects within the Dublin region. This role is ideal for candidates who have worked in apartments, housing, office buildings, or similar sectors, with either an Electrical or Mechanical engineering background.

Key Duties

• Perform detailed reviews of M&E design documentation during the tender phase to identify any design issues and clearly communicate these to the bidding team.
• Coordinate and supervise the timely distribution of M&E design data to ensure availability for construction activities.
• Ensure all M&E data released for construction has been thoroughly reviewed for alignment with project specifications by both interface designers and construction teams.
• Participate in CDM and Health and Safety compliance matters related to the projects.
• Manage and facilitate meetings involving clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Carefully review project drawings and technical specifications to detect and resolve discrepancies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience working on the contractor side of building projects.
• Background knowledge in datacentre projects.
• Minimum five years' experience coordinating building services within Ireland and the UK.
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of €85,000 to €90,000, dependent on experience.
• Travel allowance or company van provided.
