Material Manager - Aerospace Engine Hardware

Overview

This position is based in Fort Worth, TX and involves working onsite in a controlled environment focused on aerospace engine material management. The role is critical for the proper receipt, storage, handling, and packaging of high-value and safety-sensitive gas turbine engine hardware and components. This position supports multiple facility operations by ensuring strict adherence to inventory, handling, and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and document aerospace engine hardware and associated components.
• Ensure correct handling, packaging, and storage of sensitive and critical parts following company and industry standards.
• Maintain precise, updated records under guidance of the materials team.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) and quality processes.
• Coordinate with materials, engineering, and operations teams regarding operational schedules.
• Properly manage the tool and parts room organization at various locations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years’ experience in aerospace or gas turbine engine components, tool room, or parts handling roles.
• Understanding of criticality of aerospace materials and handling protocols.
• Working knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Trade school or associate degree is preferred.
