Manufacturing Operations Manager

Overview

We are currently looking to hire an Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and resource planning, including customer interactions, at a leading company specializing in automation machine manufacturing.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary between SGD 6000 and SGD 7000
• Annual wage supplement (AWS) and variable bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing resources to ensure optimal use of manpower, equipment, materials, and factory space
• Lead and uphold key quality performance indicators such as on-time delivery, product quality, throughput improvement, and cycle time reduction
• Plan, organize, and supervise manufacturing, materials, and engineering teams to achieve established objectives
• Develop, implement, and maintain plant and facility requirements and upkeep
• Promote safety practices and enhance safety awareness within the workplace
• Ensure all production equipment remains in excellent working condition
• Ensure departmental adherence to documentation control policies
• Support and provide leadership for company initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and Housekeeping standards
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to meet productivity and operational targets
• Take overall responsibility for the application of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (QEHSMS) and Business Continuity Management (BCM)

Qualifications

• Possess a degree or diploma in engineering
• Solid understanding of the manufacturing environment within an engineering company
