Role Overview

We are looking for an outstanding Manager to lead Test and Launch Operations, overseeing engineering teams responsible for vital test and launch activities for both Electron and Neutron vehicles. This role is critical for sustaining our rapid and reliable launch schedule. You will build and lead high-performing teams and implement operational processes that ensure mission success appears seamless.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering squads in executing test and launch tasks under pressurized, time-sensitive conditions.
• Balance strict safety requirements with operational agility to sustain industry leadership.
• Manage compliance with regulatory and governmental guidelines, continuously improving processes.
• Drive excellence in team motivation and development within challenging launch environments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years hands-on aerospace engineering experience focusing on testing, flight, or launch operations.
• At least 3 years in leadership roles managing diverse engineering teams in fast-paced, critical settings.
• Cross-disciplinary engineering skills in fluid mechanics, power systems, automation, instrumentation/control, and software integration.
• Demonstrated expertise in propulsion systems, test engineering, and ground test operations.
• Thorough knowledge of launch vehicle and spacecraft systems with familiarity in mission operations.
• Capabilities in rapid decision-making and anomaly troubleshooting during crucial operations.
• Strong record of developing engineering talent in demanding operational environments.

Desirable but Not Mandatory

• Direct experience with rocket launch operations.
• Prior work at launch vehicle test or launch facilities.
• Familiarity with FAA, RCC, NASA, and USAF regulatory compliance.
