About the Role
Bellota Labs is developing the next generation of interactive entertainment through premium games, technology, and live experiences. As the company behind World Poker Tour, a widely recognized name in gaming and entertainment with broadcasting reach across more than 150 countries and territories and currently in its 23rd season on CBS Sports Network, the business is broadening its international presence through media, partnerships, and audience growth efforts.
The Manager, Studios will play a key role in the operational and commercial side of the WPT Studios team, with heavy emphasis on data work, financial review, and account coordination. This person should be self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative studio team. The role supports operational planning, business workflows, and distribution systems by preparing detailed sales forecasts, monitoring revenue, and delivering data reporting that supports decision-making.
The position calls for strong financial understanding, including oversight of accounts payable and receivable, invoice creation with finance, and the development of process enhancements that reduce delays and improve efficiency. The role also contributes to client outreach, pitch development, and campaign execution in support of the Director of Distribution and Ad Sales. Reporting to the VP of Studios, this is a primary support position for account planning and sales operations.
This is a part-time onsite role based at a designated World Poker Tour office in Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate reporting into a single master tracker with summaries that help compare results and highlight what is performing well.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor core metrics and show performance trends across Studios operations.
- Develop reporting frameworks to measure viewership and revenue across all parts of Studios.
- Review industry, sales, market, consumer, and broader business data to uncover insights that guide strategy and reveal growth opportunities.
- Use third-party tools to issue invoices and support vendor and platform account management.
- Build approaches that support subscriber growth and revenue expansion.
- Support upkeep of client and account lists while assisting with outreach to target accounts alongside the Director of Distribution and Ad Sales.
- Work with the Director on sales concepts, pitch assets, and capability presentations.
- Partner with the VP of Partnerships and Studios to protect brand consistency and ensure strong client deliverables.
- Gather and develop data points that back sales initiatives and case studies.
- Support internal business initiatives by creating media plans, aligning with business units, and helping build editorial and marketing calendars.
- Prepare reports that measure ROI and identify actions for internal marketing efforts.
- Create media solutions that strengthen the brand and keep plan development and execution consistent.
- Handle client requests, resolve issues with internal partners, and proactively deliver solutions that keep campaigns running successfully.
- Manage billing and financial deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery.
- Contact OTT platforms proactively to uncover promotional opportunities and activities.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that simplify reporting, remove bottlenecks, and strengthen departmental workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with a solid grasp of the OTT and streaming ecosystem, from playout through monetization and programmatic advertising.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial planning, sales planning, data analysis, and/or business intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, data analytics, or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
- Background in entertainment, gaming, sports, QSR, automotive, or similar consumer-facing brands is preferred.
- Strong financial analysis capability, including detailed tracking of revenue, accounts payable/receivable, and data sets.
- Comfort turning metrics and dashboards into clear, persuasive stories.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Good understanding of multi-screen attribution, customer insights, and campaign management.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage several deliverables and priorities at once.
- Resourceful problem solver with strong follow-through and the ability to spot issues early.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
- Ability to keep highly sensitive information strictly confidential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience with third-party reporting tools, CRM platforms, and invoice management systems.
- PowerBI and Adobe Creative Cloud experience are a plus.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to undergo a background investigation.
- Must be able to work part-time from a designated World Poker Tour worksite.
