The association plays a pivotal role as a collective voice for the F&B sector, facilitating collaboration between businesses and government agencies while hosting networking events, recognition programs, and business initiatives. Its mission is to act as a dependable knowledge resource, foster industry advancement through best practices, and serve as a bridge between businesses and policymakers, aiming to be the apex body supporting sustainable growth of Singapore's F&B industry.

Role Overview

This role encompasses managing collaborations with government entities, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders through building strong partnerships, negotiating agreements, and driving joint projects. The manager oversees all programme aspects including budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and post-implementation analysis to ensure outcomes align with RAS objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with members to understand their challenges and needs to inform programme development.

  • Organize events and recognition platforms that support community building and industry excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to deliver comprehensive initiatives tailored to the F&B sector.
  • Manage partnership relations with government agencies, corporate sectors, and industry groups to foster collaboration.

  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and building partnerships with businesses, government bodies, or industry associations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of crafting clear and professional proposals, reports, and member interactions.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset to translate sector needs into actionable programmes and assess their success through data analysis and feedback.
  • Exposure to the F&B industry, trade associations, chambers of commerce, or government organizations is highly advantageous.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public policy, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
