Role Overview
The Manager of Finance & Accounting at Unified Real Estate Development Company (URED) and its subsidiaries oversees comprehensive financial management, strategic business analysis, and financial planning, acting as a key partner to the CFO and executive leadership. The role involves leading the Finance & Accounting department and spearheading digital transformation initiatives for financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct strategic leadership and governance across functions such as FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
- Create and manage annual business plans, manpower allocation, and budgets within the Finance division.
- Set, track, and enforce performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance team accountability.
- Drive automation and digital upgrades in finance operations utilizing Yardi, Power BI dashboards, and AI-enabled reporting tools.
- Coordinate multi-departmental reporting and governance to senior executives.
- Manage preparation and scrutiny of financial statements adhering to IFRS and Saudi GAAP standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory statutes including VAT, Zakat, WHT, and electronic invoicing mandates by ZATCA.
- Lead statutory audit processes and oversee relationships with external auditors to resolve findings effectively.
- Produce consolidated financial reports for URED and subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations.
- Maintain ongoing audit readiness and safeguard all financial records.
- Oversee treasury functions such as cash flow management, banking relationships, and credit facilities.
- Evaluate investment portfolios and advise on optimal capital allocation strategies.
- Enforce financial discipline, precise cash flow forecasting, and transparency in cost reporting across business units.
- Provide executive reports covering financial performance, risks, and treasury status.
- Deliver financial insights supporting decisions on property acquisition, development feasibility, lease pricing, and investments.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders on budgeting, cost control, and improving financial outcomes.
- Present financial forecasts and strategic analyses to the Board and senior leaders.
- Advocate for use of AI and advanced analytics to proactively generate financial insights.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members, establishing succession and training plans.
- Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture emphasizing excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Required professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA.
- Master's degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is a plus.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Experience in real estate or property management sectors preferred.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS, Saudi GAAP, VAT, Zakat, and WHT regulations.
- Proven track record of managing audit processes and relationships with auditors and regulators.
- Demonstrated leadership in financial process transformation and staff development.
