Role Overview
As the Principal Staff Officer reporting to the Head of Training Support Branch and the Deputy Commander (Army), you will offer specialized knowledge in Human Resource Management, Finance, and Logistics, crucial to supporting the Officer Cadet School (OCS) in cultivating leadership talent for Singapore and the SAF.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the chief advisor on all facets of Human Resource Management, Finance, and Logistics.
- Provide expert guidance to military colleagues that augment their operational skills.
- Supervise and coordinate the administrative and logistical functions throughout all OCS sub-units.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Higher Headquarters stakeholders, sub-unit commanders and their administrative teams, along with external vendors and contract managers.
- Manage challenges by engaging multiple stakeholders with differing priorities to guarantee smooth OCS operations.
Candidate Profile
- Academic background in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or closely related fields.
- Minimum of five years' professional experience in HR, finance, administration, and logistics within sizeable and complex organizations is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven track record in stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, effective decision-making skills, and leadership qualities in multifaceted environments involving various stakeholders.
