Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join ColorMasters, LLC in Albertville, AL. This full-time onsite role involves ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of production equipment, minimizing downtime, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and document a preventative maintenance program following written guidelines.
• Calibrate, set, and adjust machinery and instruments to meet production specifications.
• Maintain production equipment to organizational standards to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine operations on all equipment.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and conduct safety inspections.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards in all tasks.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical school diploma or advanced training in electrical, mechanical, or electronic engineering.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Capability to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Basic math skills needed to perform job functions.
• Willingness to enhance skills through available training programs.
• A cooperative attitude to work well with supervisors and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Good hand-eye coordination with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, climb steps, and repeatedly lift up to 10 pounds.
• Capable of raising or lowering objects between different levels, including pulling upwards.
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crawling, and bending required.
• Exposure to continuous noise, material odors, bright workstations, and machinery with moving parts.
