Role Purpose

The Maintenance Assistant acts as an all-round tradesperson ready to tackle various maintenance, repair, painting, and enhancement tasks. This role demands a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues early to maintain the property's high standards.

Key Duties

• Ensure all rooms, facilities, and shared areas within the property are kept in optimal condition.
• Work collaboratively within a diverse team while also managing tasks independently.
• Address a range of challenging situations with creative and effective solutions.
• Carry out routine maintenance and preventative upkeep projects as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience

• Physically fit and motivated to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Hands-on experience in general building maintenance covering basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work, although formal qualifications are not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving abilities alongside effective communication skills with management, guests, and on-site contractors.
• Willingness to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays as needed.
