Role Overview

We are presently seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This position requires overseeing comprehensive logistics functions and optimizing supply chain workflows to ensure smooth delivery of goods and services globally. The specialist will analyze data to pinpoint trends, lower expenses, and enhance service quality across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute logistics strategies that improve transportation, warehousing, and distribution systems.
Track and report on critical metrics like on-time delivery rates, shipment costs, and inventory turnover.
Work closely with multiple internal departments to ensure supply chain operations support overall business goals.
Detect and manage risks such as supplier issues and logistical delays to maintain supply chain integrity.
Utilize analytics tools to forecast demand accurately and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain planning, or similar roles.
Skilled in supply chain management software and tools for data visualization.
Strong analytical abilities for interpreting complex datasets to guide business decisions.
Excellent communication proficiency for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance is advantageous.
