Role Purpose

The Literacy Curriculum Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting McGraw Hill's flagship educational offerings for Grades K-12 by delivering comprehensive product training and demonstrations aimed at boosting sales. This position involves providing complete consulting solutions in educational design and execution to help end users obtain maximum benefit from our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture customer relationships, applying knowledge to drive sales growth.
• Deliver compelling and effective product presentations to prospective clients.
• Provide professional development sessions and hands-on training for both new and existing users on all products.
• Adopt a strategic perspective by thoroughly understanding the product range and translating detailed market research into actionable feedback for sales, marketing, and product development teams.
• Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Product Development departments to integrate customer insights, enhance revenue generation, support sales planning, and strengthen market positioning.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in English Language Education or a Master's in Education required.
• At least three years of experience in teaching or curriculum consulting within the English language education sector, with preference for experience aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
• Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and pedagogies.
• Prior background in K-12 curriculum development and materials selection.
• Experience working with McGraw Hill K-12 programs is considered advantageous.
• Strong presentation skills, including the capability to design tailored solution presentations and training sessions that address department-specific interests and needs.

Additional Requirements

• Residence in Thailand, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, or Singapore is mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Asia, approximately 40-50% of the time.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• A detail-focused, hands-on approach with the capacity to deliver results efficiently in a dynamic setting.
