Overview
Ventia is expanding its team supporting Western Power across Western Australia, offering enhanced pay rates and a positive work environment. As a Linesworker, you will be essential in maintaining and upgrading electrical infrastructure across metropolitan and regional areas, contributing to the state's energy reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled distribution tasks such as replacing poles, crossarms, transformers, and switchgear.
- Participate in network maintenance, upgrades, and resilience projects throughout Metro and Regional Western Australia.
- Collaborate effectively with crews and stakeholders to achieve safety and quality objectives for clients.
- Ensure all fieldwork complies with strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- Competitive hourly wage starting at $59.27 plus a $4.00 regional site allowance per hour.

Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (UET30619) or an equivalent credential.
- Demonstrated experience working in electrical linework, including both maintenance and upgrade projects.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License; Heavy Rigid (HR) license is highly preferred.
- Licenses for Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and relevant High-Risk Work Licences such as DG, LF, CV or above.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Capabilities in switching operations and network authorizations specific to Western Power.
- Dual skilled in overhead and underground network disciplines.
