Role Summary

This full-time Land Surveyor position in Ranchi blends field-based work with some work-from-home flexibility for documentation and planning. The role centers on surveying land, buildings, and topographic areas, including boundary checks, site marking, and level verification. It also requires using total station equipment and other survey tools, recording precise field measurements, and producing reports, sketches, and digital documentation.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to deliver accurate layouts and measurements that support design, construction, and compliance needs. In addition, you will assist with equipment upkeep, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure work is carried out in line with applicable regulations and project requirements.

Qualifications and Core Expectations

The ideal candidate should bring a solid understanding of surveying principles, including boundary, construction, layout, topographic, and building surveys. Practical experience with total stations and related instruments is important, along with the ability to read engineering drawings, site plans, and maps and convert them into accurate field work. Familiarity with surveying software, CAD tools, or data-processing applications is a plus. A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience is also acceptable. Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, careful documentation, safe working habits, willingness to travel to project sites, and professional communication are all essential.

Work Environment

The position is based in Ranchi and includes both on-site duties and remote flexibility for selected planning and documentation tasks.
