Position Summary
We are searching for a dedicated Labourer to join our St. Catharines, ON team. This permanent, full-time role entails contributing to vehicle dismantling and recycling operations, providing hands-on support essential to our daily activities. The work schedule is Saturday through Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools safely to dismantle and depollute vehicles
- Prepare vehicles for either resale or yard display
- Remove wheels, rims, and tires effectively
- Clean, test, and categorize batteries for resale purposes
- Sort and organize salvaged parts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ensure the yard and workspaces remain tidy and well-organized
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in general labor or related roles
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Capability to work diligently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with operating both hand and power tools
- Dependability and eagerness to learn various business operations
- Willingness to work outdoors under different weather conditions
