Junior Site Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Junior Site Engineer to manage on-site Waterproofing and Engineering operations. This role is fully onsite in Chennai and involves supervising daily site activities, managing labor teams, and ensuring projects meet safety, timeline, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site labor and workflows to keep projects aligned with timelines.
• Coordinate effectively with labor, Project Managers, and senior engineers to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor labor performance and promptly escalate any related concerns to the PM.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including logs, physical notes, site drawings, and Bill of Quantities.
• Take precise site measurements regularly for progress tracking and billing purposes.
• Ensure compliance with hard copy work orders, approved methodologies, and checklists at the site.
• Implement standard operating procedures properly and only adjust methods after authorized approval.
• Communicate material needs timely to the PM to mitigate any project delays.
• Manage upkeep and routine maintenance of all site machinery and equipment.
• Enforce adherence to all site health and safety regulations rigorously.

Work Schedule

• Daily tasks include supervising labor, monitoring progress, coordinating materials with the PM, and resolving on-site issues.
• Weekly duties involve submitting accurate site measurements and participating in project update meetings with the PM and CEO.
• Bi-weekly and as-required tasks cover manual reporting and auditing of documentation such as work orders, checklists, and methodologies.
