Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the Company and Position

A civil engineering firm in Meath involved in projects across Dublin and The Midlands is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor. The company is experiencing growth and seeks to expand its team to manage ongoing success.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure the work pipeline and order book align with the company’s business plan and strategic goals.
• Engage proactively with internal teams to maximize commercial efficiency and integrate it into all operations.
• Select subcontractors and suppliers following established company procedures and criteria.
• Provide input regarding the choice of plant and equipment used for various projects.
• Report any additional costs as stipulated by contract terms.
• Keep an updated register of changes on projects.
• Participate in site, internal review, and subcontractor meetings as needed.
• Adhere to the company’s policies concerning Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at least a Level 8 qualification in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent credential.
• Have a minimum of one year’s experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Construction sector.
• Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively in teams as well as work independently.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
