Junior Planner

Overview

A dynamic Dubai-based company expanding across luxury fashion, couture accessories, and lifestyle sectors is seeking a Junior Planner to join their team on a full-time basis onsite.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee seasonal buying documentation and track shipments and purchase orders, maintaining accurate updates within the ERP system regarding inventory and delivery statuses.
• Assist with sales forecasting and Open-To-Buy (OTB) planning through analysis of brand and category sales history, inventory levels, and stock requirements.
• Track inventory health by monitoring stockholding, sales velocity, and identifying slow-moving products, offering recommendations to optimize stock levels.
• Generate comprehensive reports and analytical insights concerning sales figures, inventory, pricing strategies, and category performance to uncover business opportunities and facilitate informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Fashion Merchandising, Commerce, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in demand planning or supply chain roles, preferably within the fashion or retail industries.
• Proficient practical knowledge in Open-To-Buy planning, inventory management, allocation, replenishment, and sales forecasting.
• Experienced in using ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle, with strong skills in data analysis and report generation.
