Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (Crédit Agricole CIB) is the corporate and investment banking division of Crédit Agricole Group, the world's tenth largest bank by total assets. Its Singapore office represents the second largest IT center, following the Paris Head Office, supporting global business operations across 30 markets.

The team focuses on envisioning future banking information systems, supporting major banking projects, and delivering premium in-house banking applications to provide the bank with a strategic market edge.

About the Team

The Corporate and Support Functions IT (CSI) department handles development and upkeep of risk and financial applications used globally. The Risks IT (RIT) subdivision oversees applications managing risk data collection, calculations, and monitoring worldwide.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java batch and user interface applications utilizing Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
Create ETL components processing files from sources such as XML, CSV, and position files.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable inter-system data exchange.
Implement frontend interfaces using React JS and JavaScript.
Compose efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for Microsoft SQL Server database operations.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Develop shell scripts supporting batch application workflows.
Manage job scheduling configurations via Control-M and Apache Airflow.
Support containerization technologies using Docker and Kubernetes.
Document technical designs, system configurations, and development processes thoroughly.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests with JUnit and other testing frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities.

Qualifications and Profile

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Java development.
Basic knowledge of banking domain concepts.
Proficient with backend technologies including Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot.
Experienced in frontend development using JavaScript and React JS.
Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server; Oracle knowledge considered a plus.
Version control using Git and build automation via Maven.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Working knowledge of shell scripting and processing files (XML, CSV, position files).

Desirable Skills

REST API development experience.
Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Control-M and Apache Airflow.
Experience with NoSQL databases like Elastic Search.
Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka.
Big Data technologies including Spark.
Container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Python scripting capabilities.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.
Experience with file transfer protocols and managed file transfer (CFT).
Use of GitHub Copilot in development processes.

Additional Information

This is a 12-month contract position, renewable based on performance. The remuneration package is competitive and reflective of the candidate's qualifications and experience.
