Role Overview
The agency is seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to join their fully remote team, ideal for aspiring developers enthusiastic about crafting modern, responsive web solutions. This role offers an opportunity to hone technical skills while collaborating with seasoned designers, marketers, and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accessible, user-friendly, and responsive websites tailored for healthcare, medical, and wellness audiences.
- Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code.
- Create landing pages, websites, and marketing digital assets aligned with brand and campaign goals.
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and project leads to ensure high-quality web experiences.
- Implement SEO and conversion rate optimization initiatives to improve website performance.
- Engage in project discussions, offering suggestions to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Optimize website loading speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Adhere to accessibility and usability standards alongside modern web development best practices.
- Assist in maintaining and updating WordPress and other CMS-driven websites including implementing new pages, templates, and content updates.
- Conduct cross-browser and device testing to ensure consistent functionality, troubleshoot front-end bugs, and support ongoing site maintenance.
- Keep updated on emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices, participate in code reviews, and continuously strive to improve coding standards and workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Experience ranging from 0 to 2 years in front-end development including internships, freelance projects, or entry-level roles.
- Experience contributing to live websites or web applications is advantageous.
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive/mobile-first design principles.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms preferred.
- Basic understanding of SEO as it applies to front-end development.
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with design collaboration tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of website performance tuning and cross-browser testing techniques.
- Good communication skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, eagerness to learn, and capability to work effectively remotely.
- Nice to have skills include CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap, understanding WCAG accessibility standards, experience in healthcare or regulated industries, knowledge of modern JS tooling, and Arabic language skills.
