Role overview
Jung von Matt SPREE is hiring a Junior Data Analyst (d/f/m) to expand its analytics and reporting work. The team is looking for someone who is detail-focused, naturally curious, and enthusiastic about social media, digital marketing, and turning data into practical insights.
What you will do
- Produce recurring social media performance reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and campaign-by-campaign basis.
- Gather, check, and combine data from channels and tools such as Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
- Keep reporting templates and dashboards up to date so insights are delivered accurately and on time.
- Track core social media metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, video views, follower growth, and content performance.
- Review campaign and content results to spot patterns, opportunities, and unusual changes.
- Assist Social Media and Project Management teams with one-off reporting needs.
- Protect data quality by making sure all reporting outputs remain consistent and correct.
- Build clear charts, visuals, and presentations that explain performance findings to both internal teams and clients.
- Stay informed about platform updates that could affect reporting methods.
Profile and requirements
- Confident skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong presentation abilities in PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Very high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Foundational understanding of statistics and data analysis.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to social media analytics and reporting tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Meltwater, or similar platforms.
- Good grasp of social media and digital marketing KPIs.
- Ability to turn data into easy-to-understand visuals and stories.
- Basic familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with dashboards or data visualization tools.
- Prior internship or early work experience in digital marketing, analytics, or reporting.
- German at native level, both written and spoken, is required.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is also required.
