Position Overview

We are in search of a meticulous, analytically gifted Junior Data Analyst located in the United States to join our fully remote, expanding team. The role involves overseeing the quality of datasets, monitoring the performance metrics of annotators, enhancing labeling workflows, and providing impactful insights that strengthen the AI training data processes. This role is perfectly suited for a motivated individual at the early stages of their analytical career, with a keen interest in data, machine learning, and AI operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure data quality by auditing, cleansing, and validating extensive datasets generated by AI trainers and domain experts to maintain stringent guideline compliance and accuracy.
• Monitor and assess annotator metrics including accuracy, turnaround time, and productivity by utilizing SQL, Python, and business intelligence dashboards to streamline operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Operations, AI Specialists, and Product Management to detect and resolve bottlenecks within data labeling workflows using data-driven strategies.
• Create and maintain routine operational reports and interactive dashboards for internal use and to inform client leaders.
• Evaluate edge cases and error trends in dataset outputs to assist in refining annotation instructions and quality control standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a similar quantitative discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong command of SQL for data querying and aggregation tasks.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation, particularly libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience using data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Demonstrated analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail when handling complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills to translate data insights into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning fundamentals, data annotation methodologies, or RLHF techniques.
• Practical experience in analyst roles with operational focus, including internships.
