Job Details
- Positions available: Part-time and full-time
- Working hours: Evenings
- Compensation: $14 per hour with weekly payments
Primary Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all floor types through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Use chemical cleaners and equipment responsibly to prevent damage
- Keep restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrance areas clean and well-maintained
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal, including the use of compactors as needed
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools
- Perform spot carpet cleaning and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction
- Restock paper products and sanitary materials regularly
- Adhere to a housekeeping schedule diligently
- Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
- Complete other assigned duties as per client or job requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months janitorial experience
- Willingness and ability to learn through on-the-job training
- Strong attention to detail and capability to follow instructions carefully
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with cleaning or janitorial work
- Understanding of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and waxing
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
