IT Support Assistant with Graphic Design Expertise

Overview

Eram Talent is looking for a skilled IT Support Assistant with a background in graphic design to provide both technical IT support and create impactful graphic materials for digital and print channels. Reporting to the IT Supervisor or Operations Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, managing system documentation, and delivering visually appealing design assets that enhance communication internally and externally.

Key Duties

• Deliver frontline IT assistance addressing issues hardware, software, and system-related.
• Support upkeep of applications, system documentation, and operational workflows.
• Create visually engaging layouts leveraging typography, colors, imagery, and branding principles.
• Develop premium graphic content for print materials and digital platforms including brochures, presentations, banners, social media visuals, advertisements, and marketing collateral.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and provide creative visual solutions.
• Assist with updates on websites and digital content as needed.
• Resolve minor hardware, software, and networking issues effectively.
• Maintain data backup routines and aid in portal administration.
• Compile reports, presentations, and documentation for managerial evaluation.
• Provide support to senior IT staff in software setups, system upkeep, and technical troubleshooting.
• Manage service requests and incident documentation independently with minimal oversight.
• Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies, security protocols, and branding standards.
• Perform additional IT and creative support tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Graphic Design, Multimedia or related disciplines.
• Three to five years of professional experience combining IT support with a strong foundation in graphic design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign along with other design applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint for crafting presentations.
• Fundamental understanding of computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and system support processes.
• Knowledge of website CMS platforms and familiarity with digital media are advantageous.
• Deep appreciation of branding concepts, typography, layout, and visual communication strategies.
• Excellent ability to organize tasks and multitask across multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Capacity to work autonomously while coordinating efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting engineering, technical, or corporate environments is considered beneficial.
