Role Overview
We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking IT Project Manager based in the Guangzhou-Foshan area to oversee SAP logistics interface projects and lab automation infrastructure in a pharmaceutical environment. The position requires close coordination between Chinese and global teams, focusing on seamless system integration, IT security, and infrastructure management within new R&D/laboratory setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee SAP logistics interface project delivery, ensuring effective integration with warehouse, laboratory, and planning systems.
- Manage the implementation of laboratory automation infrastructure, focusing on IT and security compliance.
- Act as the liaison among local Chinese teams and international IT/business stakeholders.
- Supervise system integration, testing, and deployment processes.
- Enforce adherence to IT security policies and infrastructure standards.
- Control project schedules, anticipate and address risks, and manage interdependencies.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication across vendors and cross-functional teams.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of proven IT Project Management experience.
- Background in SAP logistics modules (MM, WM, EWM, SD) and interface integration.
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure and security principles, including networks and systems integration.
- Familiarity with lab automation or R&D setups in a regulated, GxP pharmaceutical context.
- Competence in stakeholder and vendor management.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within multicultural, global teams.
