Role Overview
The position involves managing regulatory technology projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet defined goals within scope, schedule, and budget while aligning with regulatory requirements. The project manager will define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success factors in cooperation with key stakeholders and secure necessary approvals. This role requires maintaining coordinated efforts with PMO teams to address dependencies and serves as the primary IT contact for all regulatory concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage schedules.
- Lead team activities and allocate project resources appropriately.
- Control project scope, timing, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
- Continuously monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory projects adhere to IT standards and processes.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance and Government Relations departments.
- Ensure alignment with the organization's project management framework.
- Prepare and present ongoing project status updates.
- Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests diligently.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Support project completion activities and benefits realization tracking.
- Monitor and report on regulatory technology issues externally raised and their resolution status.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is advantageous.
- Fluent in Arabic is mandatory.
- At least 5 to 6 years of technology project management experience.
- A minimum of 3 years focused on application solution delivery.
- At least 3 years’ experience interfacing with senior leadership, including SVPs and CxOs.
