Role Overview

Join us to contribute as an IT Operations Engineer Cloud Applications (m/w/d) and help ensure business resilience and minimize risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor cloud applications and related infrastructure, promptly detect malfunctions, and initiate corrective actions.
- Handle incidents and disruptions according to severity, document and prioritize issues, and ensure compliance with agreed response and resolution times.
- Deploy new software releases, control rollouts, and conduct scheduled maintenance within defined windows.
- Develop and refine automation processes for operations, monitoring, and deployment to boost efficiency and system stability.
- Maintain and enhance operational documentation, detailing processes and contributing to ongoing quality improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Completed degree in (business) informatics, information technology, engineering sciences, or a comparable technical/scientific field.
- Minimum two years’ relevant experience working with cloud environments.
- Experience operating public cloud infrastructures (e.g., Google Cloud), knowledge of cloud management and security, and familiarity with incident and problem management processes including SLA adherence.
- Hands-on skills with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) and automating operational and deployment tasks, plus strong proficiency in monitoring, logging tools, and operational data analysis.
- Understanding of IT security and data protection requirements in regulated environments combined with a practical approach and enthusiasm for system-level work.
- Fluency in German and English, strong teamwork abilities, and experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), plus a commitment to continuous process and tool enhancements.
