You will be joining the rapidly expanding Food & Beverage Division within a large diversified Singapore-based conglomerate. The division encompasses Food Import and Distribution, Food Processing, Restaurant, and Cafe Operations and employs over 200 staff. The work atmosphere is energetic and diverse, with a strong belief in leveraging IT investments to streamline processes and boost efficiency as a foundation for both operations and expansion.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of a team ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, software applications, company websites, and manage vendor coordination.
• Participate in project teams focused on designing and implementing technology-based business solutions.
• Conduct system integration tests and resolve software application issues efficiently.
• Deliver user support including troubleshooting and timely resolution of problems.
• Record and escalate incidents, tracking them through to closure to minimize downtime.
• Provide end-user training to facilitate effective application use.
• Work closely with different departments to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Design and develop internal software applications as required.
• Create reports tailored for both end users and client needs.
• Carry out additional IT duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Minimum a Diploma in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification; higher qualifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL, application frameworks, and integrating systems via APIs.
• Proficient in designing, coding, and administrating scalable applications using programming languages including Java and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with capability to work independently.
• Experience working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, particularly with Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of applications like Business Central and Jet Report is beneficial.
• Exposure to logistics processes is an added advantage.
