Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Consultant based in Kolkata with more than 8 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inventory processes effectively to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Overseeing supply chain management activities to streamline operations.
- Handling warehouse operations to maintain efficient stock flow.
- Forecasting demand to optimize inventory levels.
- Conducting inventory reconciliation to maintain data integrity.
- Managing procurement and vendor relationships effectively.
- Planning stock levels and replenishment cycles appropriately.
- Analyzing data and generating reports to support decision-making.
- Utilizing ERP systems such as SAP MM, SAP WM, SAP EWM, and Oracle Inventory for operational excellence.
- Applying advanced MS Excel techniques including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, JDA, or Manhattan.
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Control, Material Management, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
