Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a New Zealand university
- At least four years of experience within New Zealand's structural engineering sector
- Strong command of New Zealand codes and standards
- Experience with seismic design principles
- Dedication to delivering architecturally considerate, quality solutions
- Progressing towards or aiming to pursue CPEng accreditation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and structural design software such as SpaceGass, Etabs, Robot, and MathCAD
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-aware of professional skills with readiness to seek guidance when needed
- Self-driven, cooperative, and eager to learn
- Possession of a valid New Zealand driver's license
- New Zealand resident or holding an appropriate work visa
Primary Responsibilities
- Design structural systems for residential and commercial buildings
- Provide design assistance to industry partners
- Carry out site investigations and oversee construction monitoring (CM2/CM3 levels)
- Manage client relationships and take ownership of projects
- Represent Sullivan Hall professionally at client meetings and construction sites
