Role Overview

The Interior Design Assistant is pivotal in supporting various stages of design projects alongside RH's Interior Design team. This role requires creativity, a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and relationship-building skills, all while delivering exceptional client experiences rooted in the luxury RH brand.

Responsibilities

• Embody RH’s vision, values, and beliefs consistently in daily activities.
• Deliver a high-end client experience through RH's Interior Design services.
• Qualify and inform prospective clients about available design services.
• Assist throughout the design process including consultations, site assessments, development phases, presentations, and project delivery.
• Create design presentations aligned with brand standards that communicate concepts, space planning, and product choices effectively.
• Offer in-depth product knowledge and superior client service.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional communication reflecting the RH lifestyle brand.
• Stay actively engaged with developments in luxury and design sectors.
• Uphold visual and quality standards within the gallery environment.

Requirements

• Education in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design is preferred.
• Experience in design firms or luxury retail and high-end furniture sectors is advantageous.
• Practical experience with interior installations is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a relationship-driven approach.
• Strategic thinking and mental agility.
• Exceptional organizational abilities.
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Results driven with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Familiarity with Mac OS, iOS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
• Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software for space planning and rendering.
• Artistic talents including hand sketching and rendering skills are a plus.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Possession of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally or to other states as needed.
• Capable of lifting and moving small to medium items up to 15 kilograms using proper safety methods.
• Ability to navigate the gallery floor, stockroom, and office spaces comfortably.
• The role involves prolonged periods of standing, twisting, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing.
