We are seeking an Integration Lead to steer the development and ownership of the enterprise integration layer that facilitates reliable interoperability among agentic AI systems and enterprise platforms. This pivotal role supports scaling agentic AI from isolated units into connected, enterprise-grade capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and define standardized integration patterns for agentic AI, including API-based methods, event-driven asynchronous messaging, and hybrid deterministic plus AI-driven workflows.
• Ensure the designed integrations comply with organizational standards for resilience, scalability, observability, and security, aligned to EY's AI reference architecture.
• Enable agent-to-agent (A2A) interoperability by deploying communication protocols and contracts that allow agents to discover, collaborate, delegate tasks, and share context across varied frameworks and vendors.
• Integrate and enhance orchestration SDKs and frameworks coordinating AI agent workflows, supporting both in-house and platform-based orchestrators while ensuring clear separation between orchestration control planes and integration connectivity layers.
• Lead design and implementation efforts integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to provide agents with mechanisms to discover tools, use enterprise APIs, and operate through governed contract layers, contributing to MCP's adoption across the ecosystem.
• Drive integration of agentic solutions with core enterprise systems including business software, data platforms, automation utilities, and external services, ensuring unified identity management, access control, auditing, and adherence to AI governance policies.
• Define reusable integration blueprints, templates, and accelerators to avoid fragmented point-to-point connections, enforcing contracts, versioning, dependency, and lifecycle management standards in collaboration with AI governance and architecture forums.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Extensive expertise in enterprise integration patterns including API development, event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, and microservices design.
• Proven experience in integrating sophisticated distributed systems within large-scale enterprises.
• Practical knowledge of agent-to-agent communication paradigms and interoperability issues, with familiarity of orchestration frameworks and SDKs for AI workflow coordination.
• Awareness of emerging integration protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and advanced A2A interoperability concepts.
• Strong engineering skills in API design (RESTful services, eventing, data contracts, schema management).
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and enterprise integration tools, and ability to work across AI engineering, orchestration, security, and platform teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of global IT experience collaborating across multiple disciplines to deliver customer-aligned projects.
• At least 3 years’ experience in global delivery or transformation programs, particularly large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Three or more years working in global operations environments.
• Relevant certifications including Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or enterprise architecture credentials like TOGAF.
