Program Overview

A comprehensive Finance and Operations transformation initiative is in progress involving multiple business units across Canada. NetSuite is designated to be the enterprise-wide finance platform, while operational systems will capture activities like ground handling, deicing, fuel management, and fixed-base operations (FBO) transactions.

A centralized data integration layer will oversee operational data processing, apply pricing, contract, and billing rules, and ensure that accurate financial transactions are sent into NetSuite. Supporting platforms will handle purchasing, accounts payable, corporate cards, and employee expenses.

The program covers operational data capture, transaction processing, data integration, billing, finance transformation, and multi-location rollouts. Some interfaces will continue supporting legacy finance systems until the full transition to NetSuite is complete.

Role Overview

The Integrated Program / Project Lead will be accountable for daily program delivery within the agreed governance framework. This role requires coordination among Finance, Operations, IT, Safety departments, business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive efficient program execution.

The ideal candidate should have deep understanding of both technological and business impacts, manage cross-team dependencies, resolve challenges, and provide clear guidance and escalation recommendations to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the integrated project roadmap covering NetSuite, operational systems, data platforms, and related workstreams.
• Handle dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, actions, budgets, and schedule milestones.
• Coordinate efforts between internal teams, implementation partners, and external vendors.
• Review vendor schedules critically and challenge assumptions or deadline shifts as needed.
• Ensure ownership, accountability, and prompt stakeholder involvement.
• Oversee testing phases, deployment preparations, cutover strategies, and post-launch stabilization.
• Prepare executive-level and Steering Committee progress reports, including thoughtful recommendations and trade-off evaluations.
• Escalate major issues promptly and lead resolution efforts across the program.

Initial Priorities

• Take control of integrated delivery planning and governance cadence.
• Keep dependencies, risks, decisions, actions, and milestones up-to-date.
• Validate vendor timelines against organizational readiness and resource availability.
• Ensure alignment of business and SME participation with delivery deadlines.
• Monitor readiness for testing, rollout, cutover, and stabilization activities.
• Provide leadership with actionable insights regarding risks, issues, and decision points needing attention.

Required Experience

• Demonstrated success leading major business system implementations from the client perspective.
• Experience leading ERP implementations, preferably with NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• Proven ability managing Finance, Operations, Data, and Technology program streams.
• Strong background in managing vendors and systems integrators.
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-site system rollouts.
• Understanding of order-to-cash cycles, billing, pricing, and operational transactions.
• Experience handling testing, cutover planning, business readiness, and post-go-live support.
• Capability to navigate evolving requirements, ownership, or solution decisions during implementations.
