Intake Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Intake Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient psychiatric facility on a full-time basis. This role focuses on conducting initial medical screenings and managing the patient intake process efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform thorough initial medical assessments on incoming patients.
• Work closely with medical teams to evaluate and determine the appropriate level of care for patients.
• Facilitate seamless patient intake operations ensuring coordinated care delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess an Associate's degree in nursing; a Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
• Hold a current Registered Nurse license valid in California.
• Have minimum one year of clinical experience within mental health or psychiatric care settings.
• Skilled in patient evaluations, creating treatment plans, and engaging with patients' families.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with medical and review teams.
• Required certifications include CPR with AED and Crisis Prevention Intervention training to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
