Join our team at the Centre for Adults to deliver specialized support and training for our beneficiaries in both the Day Activity Centre and Sheltered Workshop environments. This role requires dedication to fostering skill development through engaging, structured programs and personalized coaching.

Key Duties

• Implement planned engagement and training sessions tailored to the needs of adults in supported care settings.
• Provide supervision and individual assistance, utilising coaching, behavior support, and task simplification methods.
• Develop educational tools such as visual aids and detailed task analyses, establishing clear routines that support learning progress.
• Work closely with beneficiaries, their families, professional instructors, allied health practitioners, alumni, and community collaborators to ensure all-around support and engagement.
• Keep accurate records of program activities and beneficiary outcomes while assisting with administrative workflow and operational preparations.
• Contribute to special events, community outreach, and enhancement initiatives, demonstrating adaptability to meet organizational demands.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess at least a Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Exhibit enthusiasm, innovation, and a strong commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community.
• Excellent communicator with skills in teamwork and relationship building.
• Capable of working independently as well as cooperatively within a team.
• Prior experience supporting individuals with special needs is essential.
• Administrative experience will be considered an advantage.
