Infrastructure Specialist

Overview

We seek a motivated Infrastructure Specialist based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, eager to contribute to a progressive and evolving environment. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, focusing on networks, servers, firewalls, storage, backup, and ITSM systems. Prioritizing service availability, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency is essential.

Key Duties

• Set up, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and network equipment.
• Continuously monitor and resolve LAN/WAN performance issues, enhancing service quality.
• Administer firewalls and security devices, managing licenses such as Palo Alto.
• Oversee software and hardware license renewals timely.
• Conduct routine backups and assist in disaster recovery processes.
• Support the Service Desk with infrastructure-related issues.
• Handle infrastructure requests via ITSM tools like ManageEngine, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Compile detailed technical reports on infrastructure metrics and KPIs.
• Enforce cybersecurity protocols and adhere to internal security policies.
• Engage in initiatives to upgrade and optimize infrastructure systems.
• Adhere to contract obligations and meet defined timelines and KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related discipline.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience managing networks, servers, and security infrastructure.
• Proficient understanding of network architecture, firewalls, backup systems, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using ITSM platforms such as ManageEngine is essential.
• Background in managed service contracts or government projects is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices.
• Applicant must be a Saudi national.

Preferred Certifications

• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE (Palo Alto), CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSA, or MCSE are highly valued.
