Role Overview
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts, processing employment documentation, and verifying employee credentials through primary source validation. This role supports onboarding and new hire orientation, approves updates within the HRIS system, and assists in employee termination procedures. It also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements set forth by CMS, TJC, and other governing bodies. Additionally, the HR Generalist provides broad support across facility functions and performs various clerical tasks including managing phone calls, sorting and distributing mail, and maintaining an efficient filing system.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is considered advantageous.
- Prior experience in human resources or hospital support roles is essential.
- Familiarity with computer and telephone systems is required to effectively execute daily responsibilities.
