Position Overview
The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for assisting in the oversight and resolution of employee relations matters, supporting leadership with various HR concerns, and ensuring adherence to recruitment and employment regulations. This role requires close communication with employees and management to clarify company policies and human resources programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up on employee relations issues, facilitating resolution as needed.
- Support leadership teams in managing human resource challenges and employee concerns.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Communicate HR policies and updates to employees and management effectively.
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records, including interviews and verification documents.
- Coordinate logistics and administrative support for annual employee surveys.
- Answer telephone inquiries and handle messages professionally.
- Assist in staffing activities such as hiring, training, scheduling, employee evaluations, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Enforce company safety, security policies, and report any incidents or hazards promptly.
- Protect the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Provide warm, professional guest welcomes as per company standards.
- Communicate clearly using professional etiquette on phone and in-person interactions.
- Foster positive working relationships within the team to achieve shared goals.
- Use computer systems and point of sale technology for handling work-related data.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds independently.
- Carry out any additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- At least one year of relevant work experience in human resources or related fields.
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience overseeing staff.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
