Job Description
- Perform thorough health, safety, and environmental inspections across various operational sites and facilities.
- Compile detailed reports outlining inspection outcomes, observations, and proposed recommendations.
- Identify and formally record safety violations and non-compliance issues following applicable regulations.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and preventive solutions.
- Ensure adherence to relevant health and safety laws as well as internal organizational standards.
- Carry out risk assessments and detect hazards throughout the work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years’ experience managing health, safety, and environment functions on large-scale construction projects.
- Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent professional HSE certification.
- Proven ability to conduct extensive HSE inspections and audits effectively.
- Strong skills in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential workplace hazards.
