Role Summary and Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire onboarding process for new hires, encompassing welcome communications, background check coordination, scheduling, and logistical arrangements for equipment and travel.
- Lead and support onboarding training sessions, including new employee orientation.
- Oversee assessments and evaluations related to recruitment and development, such as 90-day new hire check-ins, ensuring precise documentation and data accuracy.
- Provide administrative assistance for internship programs by tracking progress, handling data entry, and coordinating communication and materials.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and documentation in HR systems, including I-9 forms, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee development for staff and contractors.
- Generate and disseminate regular HR reports, including metrics on headcount and staff turnover, to inform HR leadership.
- Coordinate offboarding procedures, including equipment retrieval and completion of exit checklists.
- Serve as a primary contact for everyday HR inquiries, escalating complex issues to specialized HR team members.
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and recruitment teams to improve process effectiveness, efficiency, and turnaround times.
- Execute additional HR administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- One to two years of human resources experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Capability to manage numerous priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities enabling effective collaboration across HR, recruitment, and business units.
- Commitment to maintaining confidential information and ensuring data integrity.
- Customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across organizational levels, internal and external.
