About the Role
RG&T Solutions is looking for a temporary HR Onboarding Assistant to join a busy HR and Recruitment team supporting a healthcare nonprofit in San Rafael, CA. This role focuses on facilitating a smooth, compliant, and positive onboarding experience for new hires, interns, volunteers, and other worker groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding processes for new employees, interns, volunteers, and other worker categories to ensure smooth and compliant integration.
- Support recruiters and HR personnel by coordinating onboarding activities and maintaining communication with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters to guarantee timely completion of onboarding steps.
- Review and monitor employment documentation, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Manage follow-up communications, keep accurate records in the applicant tracking system, and update onboarding status reports regularly.
- Address onboarding-related inquiries and assist with process improvements as onboarding systems become more automated.
- Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in HR administrative duties or onboarding functions is preferred.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, with a preference for experience using iCIMS.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, with the aptitude to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related field is preferred.
