Role Overview

LRC2 Properties is hiring a Houseperson/Porter to keep the property’s common and guest-facing areas clean, orderly, and presentable. The role also includes light maintenance support and routine cleaning tasks throughout the day.

Schedule

This position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and during special events.

Houseperson Duties

• Empty trash containers and ashtrays in hallways and public spaces.
• Clean exterior walkways, sweep stairways and landings, wash railings, and clean exit doors.
• Wash windows according to the assigned schedule.
• Clean elevators, tracks, chrome surfaces, and stainless steel fixtures.
• Remove spots from walls and doors.
• Wipe baseboards, railings, telephones, walls, and vending areas.
• Vacuum public-area carpets and rugs and shampoo carpets when needed.
• Polish and clean the lobby floor as scheduled.
• Inspect the lobby and public restrooms regularly, especially during functions, and restock supplies as needed.
• Clean public restrooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to spend an entire shift walking and standing.
• Should be able to carry out light physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, and handling items.
