Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play an integral role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and service standards. The position involves hands-on involvement on the floor ensuring all hotel rooms and public areas meet our quality expectations. You will act as deputy to the Housekeeping Operations Manager when required and help lead a team comprising internal staff and contracted cleaning service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Spend significant time inspecting cleanliness in rooms and common areas of the hotel.
• Step in as substitute for the Housekeeping Operations Manager during their absences.
• Oversee the housekeeping team including coordination between internal employees and outsourced cleaning firms to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Provide training and guidance to maintain high quality and adherence to established standards.
• Manage relationships with external cleaning contractors, place orders, and verify delivery documentation.
• Collaborate closely with hotel hosts and maintenance departments to fulfill guest requests promptly.

Candidate Profile

• Previous relevant experience in a similar supervisory role within housekeeping.
• A strong dedication to cleanliness and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident presence and ability to bring positive energy and humor to the work environment.
• Comfortable engaging with an international clientele and adept at responding effectively to varied guest needs.
• Fluency in English is essential.
